The team behind the Q1

The Shootz Q1 is built by Hong Kong Qiuxiu Technology Co., Ltd. (Qiuxiu Tech), a sports-technology company focused on one thing: applying AI to how sports get recorded and analyzed.

Qiuxiu Tech was founded by a team of PhD artificial-intelligence specialists — including Dr. Wang Shaokai, an alumnus of the University of Waterloo in Canada. The company started in Changsha and now operates across Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hong Kong, with plans for research hubs in Singapore and North America.

The Shootz Q1 launched in October 2025 as the company's flagship product: real-time tracking tuned for basketball, automatic professional-grade highlight reels after every game, and full statistical reports — points, rebounds, assists, and shooting percentages — generated without wearables or a scorekeeper.

This site is the US home for the Q1, operated by Modax Inc. in partnership with Qiuxiu Tech. The product ships through Amazon; the official global store is shootzinsight.com.
